Aerohive is ranked 5th out of 500 companies awarded the 2012 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 awards. This award provides a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth from 2007 to 2011.

For its innovative Bonjour Gateway solution announced earlier this year, Aerohive was named a winner in the Networking-Wireless category of CRN’s 9th annual Tech Innovator awards. The Tech Innovator Awards recognize technology companies that have used original methods or technologies to deliver new, innovative products and partner support. CRN Test Center Editors reviewed hundreds of technology products deployed over the past year to determine which vendors broke away traditional thinking to implement innovative methods to bridge the gap between current problems and solutions facing channel executives today. Aerohive’s Bonjour Gateway enables enterprises to manage and control Apple service availability across an entire enterprise network.

Aerohive was recognized by CRN as an Emerging Vendor. This annual list highlights companies delivering easy-to-use solutions and generating the high margins solutions providers require. Companies on this list have an active U.S. channel strategy, know the value a good channel partnership can provide and have their own perspective on technology. There are 160 companies on the 2012 list.

Aerohive was chosen as one of 50 educational technology products in eSchool Media’s 2012-2012 Readers’ Choice Awards. Aerohive was chosen for its scalable wireless architecture providing simple, centralized network management in the classroom. eSchool Media’s 2012-2013 Readers’ Choice Awards honor the best products and services in education technology. Practicing educators along with school and college administrators from across North America nominated their favorite ed-tech product or service.

TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named Aerohive’s BR100 Router as a 2011 Cloud Computing Excellence Award winner presented by Cloud Computing Magazine in January, 2012. The Cloud Computing Excellence Awards recognized the companies that have most effectively leveraged cloud computing in their efforts to bring new, differentiated offerings to market. Winners of the Cloud Computing Excellence Award are published in the January 2012 issue of Cloud Computing Magazine.

Aerohive has been chosen as one of CRN's Emerging Vendors for 2011. Aerohive was honored in the networking category for its cloud-enabled Wi-Fi and routing solutions. With new innovations like cloud computing and virtualization speeding up the pace of innovation and technology mainstays like storage and networking branching off into new directions, this list encapsulates a tectonic technology shift where the recently founded are starting to rule the roost and become household names much more quickly than in the past.
 

Aerohive was chosen as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Silicon Valley by Lead411. On a daily basis, the Lead411 research team scours through at least 600 press releases and business articles including venture capital financings, company launches, office openings, new customer press releases, etc. This information has given insight to which are the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S. Their "Hot List" awards have been created to recognize these fast growing companies.

Gartner named Aerohive a "Cool Vendor" in its recently released "Cool Vendors in Enterprise Networking, 2010" report. Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are: Innovative, enable users to do things they couldn't do before; Impactful, have, or will have, business impact (not just technology for the sake of technology); Intriguing, have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months.

Gartner positions Aerohive in the "Visionaries" quadrant of the 2010 Magic Quadrant for Wireless LAN Infrastructure (Global). Vendors were evaluated based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision. According to the report, a "vendor in the Visionaries quadrant demonstrates an ability to increase features in its offering to provide a unique and differentiated approach to the market. A visionary will have innovated in one or more of the key areas of WLAN technologies (convergence, security, management or operational efficiency)." Innovation is weighted highly by Gartner in evaluating a vendor's completeness of vision.

El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) has been honored with an InfoWorld 100 award for its deployment of an Aerohive wireless LAN to support a wide range of applications, including mission-critical systems in the emergency room and operating rooms, the Hospital Information System (HIS), and quality review management software.

InformationWeek, an industry-leading source of news, analysis, and perspective for business technology executives, has selected Aerohive for this year's "Startup 50" editorial feature. The "Startup 50" list recognizes technology startups, each less than five years old, that have developed the most innovative and compelling products or services for the business market. The startups were evaluated for innovation, value, and enterprise-readiness.
