Hardware Program Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Lead all departments in a cross-functional team in developing, publishing & maintaining hardware project schedules
Develop, document and execute standardized product deliverable procedures
Must have ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and work with all departments in achieving on-time project deliverables
Run cross-functional product program review meetings, identify issues for product releases and drive these issues to resolution
Manage preparation of development and QA environments
Develop metrics and measurement process to evaluate timeliness and quality of hardware product releases
Build positive relationships and trust over time through strong on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and by exceeding expectations
Interface with Engineering team in transitioning hardware products to manufacturing
Work with engineering for prototype bring up of PCBA's and Systems
Interface with local CM's during prototype builds and ensure test coverage and overall quality
Track early life failures and ensure root cause and closure prior to manufacturing release
Troubleshoot Mechanical and subassembly interconnect issues
Support transition to offshore volume manufacturing

Job Requirements:

BS in ME, EE or equivalent
10+ years of industry experience in a similar function
Prior experience leading a cross functional team in bringing hardware products to market
Knowledge of NPI processes and requirements
Experience in Wireless Industry is a plus
Self starter and work with minimal supervision
Leadership skills, some project management experience
Experience with CM pricing and terms negotiation
Experience with Plastics injection molding, sheet metal and die casting is a plus

Network Management Engineer

As a Network Management Engineer, you will be responsible for design/develop/maintain the network management solution for the next generation wireless network.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement key components of the embedded management applications
Lead/guide a team of engineers in product design and implementation
Drive effective processes, design and coding standards
Manage aggressive project schedules
Collect requirements and convert to a solid System design and system solution

Job Requirements:

5+ Experience in embedded management tools such CLI, SNMP Agent, WebUI, XML, SOAP
Solid experience in developing on embedded Linux platform
Good understanding of data networking concepts switching, routing and WLAN
Successful track record of developing high quality, complex embedded software features, against aggressive schedules
Strong fundamentals in software engineering principles and practices, knowledge of system integration and testing methodologies
Excellent communications skills, ability to clearly document functional and design specifications
BS/CS is required, MS is preferred
Experience in RF Planning and monitoring tools is a plus
Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus

Senior System Test Engineer

We're looking for test engineers who are self-motivated and can work independently and efficiently in a challenging and fast-moving start-up company. The candidate will be responsible for designing system test plans and executing test cases to test Aerohive wireless network device in network topologies that are close to typical real world network deployments with typical network applications. The candidate will work closely with all other test engineers and developers to ensure Aerohive wireless products meet customer requirements and functional specifications. The candidate will also reproduce and trouble-shoot customer reported bugs, either in our US test lab or on customer sites.

Working Experience Requirement:

The candidate must be a frontline hands-on test engineer with 3+ years of industrial working experience in network tests, such as testing wireless products, switches, routers and firewalls.

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

Have industrial experience in software QA process, such as working experience with bug tracking systems, writing bug reports clearly and accurately and tracking bug status etc, end to end test project process
Have a strong understanding of network layered model, major protocols of TCP/IP networking
Having strong 802.11knowledge and testing experience is a strong plus
QoS, VOIP testing experience a strong plus

Strong network test bed setup skills, including:

Network topology design
Popular switch/router configuration to implement network topologies at L2 ad L3 layers
Maintain various infrastructural network servers (DHCP, DNS, Radius etc) configurations
Strong network problem trouble-shooting skills
Working experience with traffic generator/sniffer, such as SmartBit, Ixia products etc a plus
Linux (Unix) system and network management experience a must
Any one of TCL, Perl, Linux (Unix) Shell or PHP programming experience a plus

Education:

At least 4-year college education in computer, math or physics.

Product Marketing Manager

As a member of the Aerohive marketing team you will be responsible for developing product initiatives for use by field marketing and sales channels in the promotion of new and existing Wireless LAN products.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the successful introduction of new products to press, analysts, Aerohive sales and channel partners
Create compelling product messages, positions, and solutions
Develop and/or assist in the development of collateral, such as presentations, white papers, sales tools, call scripts, buyers' guides and 'what's new' documents, with input from product line product marketing managers
Update and create new Web content, as well as newsletter content. Communicate value propositions and unique differentiators
Develop and execute campaigns with field marketing
Support marketing and sales departments in achievement of Aerohive corporate goals. Leverage, package and create content to support channel, regional and corporate programs
Participate in marketing research to support activities such as launches, strategic initiatives, product naming, and the enhancement of marketing effectiveness

Senior Wireless Driver Engineer

We're looking for a senior software engineer with strong background in 802.11 wireless LAN driver, 802.11 protocol and/or wireless LAN intrusion detection and prevention systems. The candidate will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of 802.11 wireless software in Aerohive corporative control wireless LAN product.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software development for networking products and 2+ years of experience with 802.11 wireless products.
Great experience with 802.11 wireless LAN chip driver and protocol
Great experience with WLAN intrusion detection and prevention system
Experience or knowledge in 802.11 RF is a plus
Experience with Linux kernel or driver development

Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Technical Support Specialist to provide telephone support and service for our wireless solutions. The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) works as a key member of a growing, exciting and professional team supporting Aerohive wireless products. The TSE will often need to engage with customers in a consultative manner to resolve complex issues, working in conjunction with engineering and QA. Successful candidates should be capable of driving technical investigations to resolution in a dynamic working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond daily to inbound calls, emails, web requests and faxes during scheduled hours within published service levels.
Research, replicate, and resolve product issues reported by customer and field personnel.
Enter and track customer interactions, feedback, problem reports and solutions in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Serve as first point of escalation for technical problems from customer. Provide technical assistance and documentation to Customer Engineers and Developers.
Contribute to the improvement of the company's products, documentation, and QA processes.

Experience/background required:

The ideal candidate is:

Customer focused and can provide support and service that goes beyond satisfaction.
An experienced professional who can communicate effectively, professionally and courteously, empathically, and clearly with customers both verbally and in writing.
Specific experience supporting and troubleshooting IP routing, DNS, DHCP, Authentication protocols (including RADIUS and LDAP), and Network Management Systems (EMS/NMS)
Having strong 802.11 knowledge is a big plus.
Solid experience with packet tracing/sniffing.
5+ years support experience for network infrastructure products and expertise with advanced TCP/IP networking concepts.
