Senior Network Management System Engineer (Hangzhou China)

 

As a senior network management system Engineer, you will be joining a very talent and growing product team working on the cutting edge technologies. Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is the design and development of above described web 2.0 network management system. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Be an expert of one or more product components, responsible for design specification, development, integration and customer support
  • Provide technical leadership to the team, and mentoring other team members
  • Work closely with system architects in US and China, QA and support engineers, as well as other cross functional teams to deliver high quality product and customer satisfaction

The position may require travel to our US headquarter occasionally.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial software product development experience
  • 3+ years of development experience building web 2.0 network management systems
  • Good understanding of web application architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA) and REST web services
  • Hands on experience and expert of one or more of below and other web 2.0 technologies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript and toolkits (YUI, jQuery), AJAX, JSP, Tomcat, Radius, Hibernate and database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of network management concepts and network protocols (wifi a big plus)
  • Must have solid problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to find your own way out of the woods for technical challenges
  • Can do attitude and team player are a must
  • Architectural skills strongly desired (scalability, performance & reliability)
  • Chinese language a big plus
