Senior/Staff System Test Engineer - Networking (US)

The successful candidate for this position will become a member of the System Verification Team. This person will be responsible for verifying Aerohive wireless and networking products at the system level. Position responsibilities include providing technical guidance to junior level testers and supporting the Aerohive Tech support team.

Required:

• 5+ years of L2/L3 switching and routing experience, in-depth understanding of STP, VLAN, Trunking, OSPF and routing principles
• L4~L7 knowledge such as TCP/UDP, Firewall and common enterprise application protocols such as SIP, Radius, VPN(IPsec, GRE)
• Solid knowledge in major vendors’ switch and routing products and configuration
• Trouble-shooting skills and hands on experience of handling customer issues
• Enthusiastic about working in a startup environment and adaptable to new requirements and technologies. Willing to learn.
• Must be proactive about achieving goal with minimum need for resource and supervision
• Excellent Communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
• BSEE/CS or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of Linux System.
