David Flynn

CEO

David Flynn has more than 15 years experience in the networking and security industries working with both software and hardware products. He was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at NetScreen Technologies from 1999 to 2004 where he drove marketing, product and corporate strategy leading to a successful IPO and the eventual $4 billion sale of the company to Juniper Networks. At Juniper, David served as Vice President of Products for the Security Products Group. Prior to NetScreen he worked at 3Com Corporation for 8 years, where he held various marketing and product management positions including Vice President of Marketing for the architecture and software operation in the Client Access Business Unit. David has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College, Williamstown, MA.

Adam Conway

Vice President of Product Management

Adam Conway is Vice President of Product Management at Aerohive Networks, Inc.; he brings over a decade of experience in the development of networking equipment. Previously Adam ran product management for the branch office and mid-market firewall and router platforms for Juniper Networks and NetScreen Technologies; a role that included managing the Juniper wireless products.

Adam started his career at Cisco Systems as an engineer on the design team for low-end IOS routers including such blockbuster products as the Cisco 2500, 1700, 1600 and 800 series routers. Adam Conway Received an MS in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University. Adam has authored networking and wireless patents.

Seamus Hennessy

Chief Financial Officer

Seamus Hennessy has more than 11 years of experience in financial management, administration and accounting. Seamus was most recently the CFO of Bubble Motion and prior to that the VP Finance of NetScaler, an application networking company. Seamus was involved with NetScaler from inception through its growth to become the market leader in Application Delivery Systems until its acquisition by Citrix for $325M in 2005. Prior to joining NetScaler, Seamus was a financial consultant for Murdock & Associates, providing accounting, finance and information systems services to emerging and established technology companies. Prior to that, he served as senior financial analyst for Frost & Sullivan, where he was responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, and financial consolidations.

Seamus holds a BBS with Honors from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

Sheen Khoury

Executive Vice President of Sales and Field Operations

Sheen Khoury brings decades of experience in the Internet, mobile, and networking industries to the Aerohive executive team. Sheen previously served as Senior Vice President of Sales for the Application Networking Group of Citrix Systems. He joined Citrix through its acquisition of NetScaler, Inc., where he led direct and channel sales teams globally as senior vice president, worldwide sales at NetScaler, growing bookings from $2 million to $90 million. Prior to joining NetScaler, Sheen was vice president, sales, at Good Technology, Inc., and senior vice president, strategic sales, at Exodus Communications, where he formulated, implemented, and managed the worldwide strategic sales and global accounts teams that grew revenue from zero to over $300 million. He has also held positions at Genuity, Oracle, and Mobil Oil Corporation. Sheen currently serves on the advisory board for Sonoa Systems and recently served as an executive consultant and employee to Jasper Wireless, Ludic Labs and Rackable Systems.

Sheen is also a dedicated philanthropist, working with organizations including the United Way and currently leads charity events for Lance Armstrong Foundation. He earned a bachelor's of science in purchasing and materials management from Arizona State University and attended graduate school at Pepperdine University.

Changming Liu

CTO and Vice President of Engineering

Changming Liu is the co-founder of Aerohive Networks, Inc. Changming has been a key architect and technical manager for over 15 years in the Data Networking industry. Prior to founding Aerohive, he was a Distinguished Engineer at Juniper networks. Previously he held other key positions with Nortel Networks, Vistar Telecommunications, and NetScreen Technologies. Changming holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in Beijing and received his Masters in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Queen's University in Canada. Changming is the author of more than ten Networking Patents.

Stephen Philip

Sr. Director of Marketing

Stephen Philip is an industry professional with more than 25 years of experience in the telecoms, enterprise networking and security industries. Prior to Aerohive Networks, Stephen was at Juniper/NetScreen for six years, where he held the positions of Senior Director of Product Marketing, Juniper Security Products, Director of Product Marketing and Director of Americas Marketing NetScreen Technologies. Stephen has also worked at a number of Vendors, Carriers and System Integrators including 3Com, British Telecom, Infotron Systems and Telecom Australia.

Gareth Green

Executive Vice President of Sales and Field Operations, EMEA

Gareth has over ten years experience in the networking industry in EMEA. Before joining Aerohive, Gareth was the VP EMEA for Network Engines where he was responsible for sales, channels and strategic partner alliances in the region. Prior to Network Engines, Gareth served as VP Enterprise for Juniper Networks through its acquisition of NetScreen Networks. During the six year period Gareth spent as VP EMEA for NetScreen, Gareth was responsible for the strategies and development of theentire Netscreen EMEA business. He helped establish NetScreen as a key network security vendor in the EMEA marketplace , taking the company from an unknown start-up to revenues to in excess of $120million. Prior to Netscreen, Gareth was a Co-Founder and Director of Congress Communications, a European based start-up incubator taking US companies into EMEA and worked with over 20 companies including, Ipswitch, Arrowpoint, Ramp Networks, Apogee, Indus River,and Ipivot.

Gavin Zhu

General Manager of China Operations

Prior to co-founding Aerohive, Dr Zhu co-founded a wireless PAN product company, Blootech. During the past 15 years, he led the development of the intelligent network managed systems for optical transport and switching products at Avanex, OptiMight, BrightLink and Nortel Networks as well as engineering position in grid computing at Altair Engineering. Areas of expertise include wireless communications, network management systems in large scale networks, and distributed computing resources management. Dr. Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems from Nottingham University, U.K.
