Todd Rulon-Miller Joins Aerohive Board of Directors
Former Netscape Senior VP Brings Expertise to Wireless LAN Pioneer
SANTA CLARA, Calif., November 11, 2009 — Aerohive Networks, creators of the award-winning cooperative wireless LAN (WLAN) architecture, announced today that Todd Rulon-Miller has joined the company's board of directors. Rulon-Miller, formerly senior vice president of worldwide sales and services at Netscape Communications, is a founding partner at Apogee Venture Group, an early stage venture investment and consulting firm. During his time at Netscape, Rulon-Miller built the company's sales team to 800 employees operating in more than 30 countries and grew the company from its pre-revenue stage to a more than $600 million annual run-rate. In August, 1995, Netscape completed the then-most-successful initial public offering on the NASDAQ.
Since then, Rulon-Miller has served on the boards of multiple technology companies, including Active Software (acquired by WebMethods), Icarian (acquired by Workstream), KnowHow, Oblix (acquired by Oracle), and WebSentric AG. He also served on the marketing advisory board of Epiphany, Inc. during the company's initial public offering on the NASDAQ. Prior to his role at Netscape, Rulon-Miller served in executive roles at First Data Resources, IBM, NeXT, Software Alliance, and Tandem Computers. He holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
