Aerohive Networks Names Chief Financial Officer and VPs of Channels, Product Management
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 7, 2007 — Aerohive Networks, creators of the "cooperative control" wireless LAN (WLAN) access point (CC-AP), today announced that Seamus Hennessey, formerly with Bubble Motion and NetScaler, has joined Aerohive as its chief financial officer and that Arif Razvi, also formerly with NetScaler, has joined Aerohive as vice president, channels. The company also announced that Adam Conway, formerly Aerohive's senior director, product management, has been named vice president, product management. Seamus Hennessey has more than a decade of experience in financial management, administration, and accounting. He was most recently chief financial officer at Bubble Motion, a voice application and services company. Prior to that, he served as vice president, finance, at NetScaler, an application networking company that was acquired by Citrix in 2005 for $325 million. Previously, Hennessey was a financial consultant for Murdock & Associates and provided accounting, finance, and information systems services to emerging and established technology companies. He also served as senior financial analyst at Frost & Sullivan, where he was responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, and financial consolidations. Hennessey holds a BBS with honors from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Arif Razvi is a proven channel sales executive and brings more than 15 years of experience to Aerohive Networks. As vice president, channels, Razvi's top priority will be building Aerohive's worldwide reseller program. Prior to joining Aerohive, Razvi spent nearly four years as senior director, worldwide channels at NetScaler. Razvi led channel sales and alliance development at Exodus Communications and was the co-founder and vice president of sales and marketing at A-Link Network Services. Razvi has also held management positions at NetVMG and Sonic Systems (now SonicWall). Razvi is also an active entrepreneurial supporter and has invested in and served on the boards of several technology and non-technology companies in Silicon Valley.
Adam Conway has more than a decade of experience in the development of networking equipment. As vice president, product management, he is responsible for product strategy and managing Aerohive's product portfolio. Previously, Adam ran product management for the branch-office and mid-market firewall and router platforms for Juniper Networks and NetScreen Technologies, a role that included managing the Juniper wireless products. Conway started his career at Cisco Systems as an engineer on the design team for low-end IOS routers, including such blockbuster products as the Cisco 2500, 1700, 1600, and 800 series routers. He received a master's in engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University. Conway has authored several networking and wireless patents.
