Aerohive Networks Named "Best of Interop" Finalist in Wireless/Mobility Category at Interop Las Vegas 2007

CEO David Flynn to Speak on "Evolution of Wireless LAN Architectures" Panel; Company to Demonstrate New Cooperative Control Wireless LAN Access Points

Aerohive Networks, creators of the "cooperative control" wireless LAN (WLAN) access point (CC-AP), was named a finalist for the "Best of Interop" award in the wireless and mobility category for its HiveAP 20 ag CC-AP. Winners will be announced on May 22 during Interop Las Vegas.

Aerohive will be exhibiting and demonstrating its recently introduced wireless LAN solutions in booth #1775 at the show.

Aerohive's new class of wireless LAN equipment eliminates the need for centralized wireless LAN controllers, enabling a next-generation cooperative control wireless LAN architecture ideal for whole-enterprise deployment. The cooperative control architecture provides the reliability necessary for mission-critical networks, is optimized for voice over wireless LAN (VoWLAN) applications, and scales easily to support 802.11n.

David Flynn, chief executive officer, Aerohive Networks, will be participating in the panel discussion "The Evolution of Wireless LAN Architectures" on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. This session, moderated by Frank Bulk, contributing editor, Network Computing, will provide a detailed look at the state of wireless LAN architecture, advances on the horizon, and the tools needed to decide on the best approach for applications.

Event: May 20-25, 2007
