Simpler to Deploy and Expand

Aerohive's approach to wireless LANs is simple to deploy and expand because it's not constrained by controller capacity limits or wireless overlay planning. In a controller-based wireless LAN environment, as an enterprise adds a new application, such as voice-over-wireless LAN (VoWLAN) or migrates to 802.11n access points, the requirement for better performance and capacity increases and it is likely that the capacity of the original wireless LAN controller will be exceeded.

In remote locations there is no requirement to deploy controllers (or redundant controllers) in every location, dramatically reducing the cost of rolling out wireless productivity to remote employees

Aerohive's cooperative control architecture allows you to address capacity and planning easily and there is never the unfortunate requirement of needing to upgrade to a higher capacity controller just because you need to add one more AP or want to migrate to IEEE 802.11n for higher performance.
