Aerohive’s Talent Acquisition Team Wins 2018 North American CandE Award for the Ultimate Candidate Experience
Milpitas, Calif. — September 13, 2018 — Aerohive Networks® (NYSE: HIVE), a Cloud Networking leader, today announced for the second consecutive year it was awarded the North American Candidate Experience (CandE) Award for its exemplary candidate experiences through all phases of the recruiting and hiring process, as perceived by their candidates. The Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and benchmark of a quality candidate experience, selected the top 65 North American companies through a rigorous data collection process and feedback from over 130,000 job candidates.
Aerohive’s best-in-class Talent Acquisition Team was awarded a 2018 CandE Award for its hard work in creating a top-notch and personalized candidate experience for all job applicants they come into contact with.
“This year’s announcement came as a sweet and somewhat unexpected surprise simply because of how high we had raised the bar from last year, in terms of delivering a personalized experience where candidates feel respected and well served throughout the entire recruitment process,” said Marie Norman, senior director, Global Talent Acquisition, Aerohive Networks. “This year, it was our goal to address the issues we collected through candidate surveys and feedback each quarter via Aerohive specific Candidate Experience surveys we generate throughout the year. Therefore, finding out we won a second CandE Award this year made it evident our commitment really paid off. Since last year’s award, we’ve added two new members to our talent acquisition team and the impact they’ve made to the candidate experience has already proven to be very visible.”
Winners of the 2018 CandE Award were identified through a blind data analysis based on their job candidates’ satisfaction survey scores. To qualify, each company committed to a statistically significant candidate response rate, where the proportion of respondents not hired met or exceeded a set standard. Multiple factors in the data summaries were considered in the final analysis; however, three key questions had a significant impact on determining the winners.
- These questions focused specifically on the likelihood that the candidate would reapply to the organization, whether the candidate would refer other job seekers to the organization, and the candidate’s overall ranking of the specific candidate’s experience. The 65 winners are organizations that received the highest positive candidate experience ratings. Of interest to note, the average winning CandE scores this year were 13 percent higher than 2017. This year’s #65 winner had a CandE score 4 percent higher than the #50 winner in 2017.
All winners will be honored at the 2018 North American Candidate Experience Symposium and Awards Gala on October 15 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Fl.
